Domain Names for Less!

Filed under: Uncategorized — cindy at 1:21 pm on Monday, May 1, 2006

Domain names don’t have to be expensive.  As a matter of fact, domain names can be one of the least expensive ways to promote your business.  A domain name is a like a sign that points people to your website.

You should choose good keywords for your domain name.  Many folks may not search for your business name, but they will search for key words.

Another good tip about domain names is to not only buy the .com domain name, but buy the .net, .org, .info, etc. as well.  That way no one else can get the same name with a different extension and steal some of your business.  Many folks may type in the wrong extension - if you register them all, then it won’t matter which one they type in.

Just because you register all the extensions doesn’t mean you have to have that many websites.  You can make just one website and have all the domain names point to that one site.

You can get domain names from me for only $8.95 per YEAR!  And if you are a Promised Land Services Premium Member, you get a discount which means that domain names are only $7.67 per year!  That’s a GREAT deal!!  We also have many other web services that you can use with your website, so check them out now!

Affiliate Marketing

Filed under: Uncategorized — cindy at 11:41 am on Sunday, April 30, 2006

Google is not the only one that pays you to advertise. There are many, many places on the internet that will pay you to help them sell their products. Many people make a full time living selling somebody elses products over the internet.

You can become an affiliate to many different websites and help sell their products. When you send someone to their site that purchases their product, you will get a percentage of the profits! Sometimes those commissions are as much as 50%!

The better you can pre-sell someone else’s product, the more money you can make. You can sell through your own website, in your local newspaper, or any other way you can think of! Just send folks to buy the products and you make money - it’s that easy!!

I love making this kind of money because all I have to do is talk or write about products that I really believe in and I get paid to do it! How easy is that?

If you are interested in making money this way, please let me know and I’ll help you get started in affiliate marketing! I’ll help you get your website set up and help you learn more about setting up your affiliate links and how to help others sell their products.

Using Adsense to Turn Your Passion Into Profit

Filed under: Uncategorized — cindy at 8:03 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2006

If you don’t want to write books or ebooks, but you do like to write, you might try blogging about your passion. You can make blogging about your passion bring money in by adding Google Adsense to your blog. Advertisers pay to advertise on your site. Google brings the two of you together. The ads are contextual which means that they are ads about products and services that match your topics. The more content you have on your blog or website, the better the ads will match your content.

Many people make quite a bit of money using Google Adsense. It is a great service for both advertisers and publishers. I like it as a publisher because I love to write. And this way, I can get paid to write about my passions.

My adsense income more than doubled after reading and applying the Adsense Secrets that Joel Comm revealed in his book:

Google AdSense Secrets 3.0 ebook

If you are interested in setting up a blog but don’t know how to get started or set it up with Adsense, we can help with our new blog service.  We’ll set up your blog and even add Adsense in for you so that you don’t have to do anything except write in your blog.  Check out our blog service page for more information.

We take out the hard parts and help you start making money!

Creating Ebooks - A Profitable, Low-Overhead Way to Share Your Passion

Filed under: Uncategorized — cindy at 3:05 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2006

One way to turn your passion into profit is to write a book. Many people would love to write books, but they don’t know how to publish a book or feel that they can’t afford to publish a book. It is expensive to have your book published!

But, with technology today, electronic books are easy, low-cost ways to write your book and share it with others. You write your book and then save it in a file format that can be shared over the internet. People then buy your ebook over the internet, download it to their computer and read it or print it out from there.

You will need a word processor to write your book. There are free programs to save your book in the correct format. And then you need a website to share your book with others. You will need a way to take payments online. PayPal is the cheapest and best way that I have found - it’s free except for the credit card processing fees which aren’t taken out of your account until you’ve made a sale.

So, there’s little to no overhead when you make an ebook. It doesn’t cost anything to make copies of the book. Your only real cost is the web space for your website!

If this sounds interesting to you, but you don’t know how to do the things I’ve mentioned here, you might be interested in my ebook services. I do everything except write the book for you!! And for a very small monthly fee, everything is taken care of for you - you just need to check your paypal account for money! It’s that easy!

If you have questions about this service, or how I can help you turn your passion into profit, please let me know!!

Turning Your Passion into Profit

Filed under: Uncategorized — cindy at 4:04 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2006

So, once you’ve identified your passion, how do you turn that into profit?

There are a number of different ways - and they all depend on your passion. Many times it includes thinking outside the box.

With most passions, we can usually provide that as a service for others that either don’t like to do it or those that don’t have time to do it. For instance, if your passion is building websites you can build websites for others. If your passion is sewing, you can sew for others. If your passion is cooking, then you could cook for others. These are always options and what most folks think of first.

Mine was building websites for others. And so, I started building websites for others. And even though I enjoyed building websites, I soon realized that I was NOT going to get rich from building websites. As a matter of fact, I could work myself to death building websites just to get the bills paid.

I had a couple of options to make more money. I could work longer hours which really wasn’t an option for me. Or I could charge higher prices which I didn’t want to do. I started this business to help others by charging affordable prices, and eventhough I could probably get away with charging more, I just didn’t want to do that for my customers sake. So, I had to think outside the box and do something different.

The best way to make MORE money is to do something once and then make money from that over and over again. Building a website made me money once and that was it, but web hosting makes money every month. Writing a book about web design and hosting could potentially bring me money for a long time in the future. Writing articles that bring in money could bring that money for a long time to come. And nothing really limits my earnings.

So, now I try to think of places where I can spend my time making and doing things that will last and provide income not only now, but also into the future. That way, the money that I make today is ADDED to the income I’ve provided for yesterday.

So, instead of sewing for others, how about making patterns to sell for others to sew their own? Or what about writing a book about sewing to teach others how to save money by sewing their own stuff. Or how about building a website about sewing that will bring visitors - then sell advertising on the site to bring in money. How about setting up a sewing business where you work on marketing and getting customers while others do the actual sewing for you. This way you can sew when you want, but your livelihood doesn’t depend on your sewing.

If my passion is cooking (believe me, it’s NOT!), I could make a website about cooking and sell advertising or I could write cookbooks or I could teach others to cook. Try to find a way to do something once and reap the rewards for many years to come.

So, again, I ask, “What’s YOUR passion?” And then I ask, “How can you make money from your passion?” And the better question is, “What can you do about your passion that could produce money over and over and over again?”

Are you having trouble with these questions?  Contact me, I’ll be glad to help!

My boys think their passion is video games. They would be content to sit around all day and play video games. So I put them to the challenge - how can you make money from video games?? They’ve now started their own website - http://dsgametalk.com and they have a forum and their own blogs. They are going to start reviewing Nintendo games and writing about their progress, etc. When they get enough traffic, they can start selling advertising and using Google Adsense. It won’t get them rich overnight, but then again, they aren’t doing it for the money. They are doing it for the passion. And eventually, that will bring the money.

What’s your passion?? Do IT!
